Our Church is one of the few churches in our area that has a Special Education Ministry for those who are mentally challenged, or have some other type of special need. Our ministry to those with special needs and their families began when our church was started, led by Herbert & Grace Bryant. There is a Sunday School class each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. taught by Bob Patton & Grace Bryant. Except for the summer months, the class participates in a bowling league for Special Kids. They also have special activities occasionally. The third Sunday in March is designated as "Special Kids Sunday," and they take an active part in the morning worship service. Every summer they enjoy a week-long Vacation Bible School in the evenings. Each October the church provides a trip to the annual Eagle Eyrie retreat, a statewide event of about 400 special kids and their families.
Each December they have a Christmas party.
