Dr. Felker is preaching a series of expository sermons from the Book of Acts. This series follows the growth of the early church as they share the Gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and other nations. We hope you will join us for this important study of God. These sermons are also available online.
This year Easter Sunday is April 1st. We encourage you to worship with us either at 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. We celebrate that Jesus is alive, so let us sing praises to His name as a congregation! The choir will sing a special Easter song that morning. Pastor Felker will preach a message entitled “The Day They Tried to Fool Everyone” from Matthew 28:11-15. Don’t miss this special day celebrating the fundamental facts of the Gospel of Jesus, His death, burial, and resurrection. Please invite others to worship with us that Sunday, including family members. There should be plenty of parking and room for everyone who wants to attend! There will be no PM service Easter evening so you will have more time with your family.
The Virginia Harmonairs Gospel Quartet will be at our church on Sunday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. to present a concert of gospel music. The Virginia Harmonheirs are four people who love to sing about the Lord and minister through Gospel Music! The group consists of Lexi Korkos-Tenor, Jerry Lowe-Baritone, Ed Pettersen-Lead and Charles West-Bass. The group travels throughout central Virginia and would welcome the opportunity to visit churches in surrounding states as well...anywhere they can sing about Jesus and tell the good news of salvation through song, they'll gladly go.
The group recently released their first CD entitled "Singing God's Praises" and it contains some of their most requested songs. You can pick one up at a concert, or just order it from their website. https://www.harmonheirs.com/
