Our Pastor is Dr. Steve Felker. He began serving our church on June 22, 1987. A native of Rome, Georgia, he was
called to preach under the ministry of Dr. Jerry Vines in 1975. Pastor Felker is
a 1978 graduate of the Criswell College in Dallas, Texas. He also
graduated from the Criswell Graduate School. He graduated on May
27, 2005 with the Doctor of Ministry
degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, with an em
phasis
in relevant expository preaching. Dr. Felker has twenty-nine years of pastoral experience. He
and his wife Cheryl have two sons, Andrew and David, ages 25 and 21.
Our Pastor proclaims the Word of God each Sunday. Our people have found that he faithfully explains a text of Scripture and seeks to apply the truths of the Word of God to daily living. Our Pastor is also available to minister to the spiritual needs of our church and community through visitation, counseling, and prayer.
